There are things that Whole Foods Market will and will not accept when it comes to recycling.
Do accept:
- Plastics #1, 2, 3, 4, 5, & 7
- Aluminum cans
- Paper/Magazine
- Glass
- Cardboad
- Corks and papyrus greeting cards
- Electronic Waste
Do NOT accept:
- Styrofoam/#6 plastics
- Compostable dishware/Containers
- Food/Liquids
- Recycling contaminated with food waste or liquids
- Construction waste.
They ask that recyclable items are clean and separated by group/type products:
- Paper, magazine, cardboard, greeting cards
- Plastic bags
- Hard plastics, aluminum cans, glass
- Electronic Waste
- Corks
