The new hotel in The Summit at Fritz Farm is well on its way. Origin Hotel is a boutique hotel owned by the Thrash Group. Construction started a little over a year ago on the $24 million development in the back of The Summit.
Located in the newly developed shopping center, this 120 room hotel is only the second of its kind and won’t be like any hotel this city has seen before. According to their website, Origin hotel destinations are a “culture of the creative,” and cater to travelers with a passion for exploring local culture.
The goal of Origin is to connect people to meaningful experiences; whether that’s walking around The Summit, cheering on the Wildcats, or enjoying a taste of bourbon. The elements of life, balance and community are the heartbeat of the hotel’s culture.
Inside this extravagant hotel will be a restaurant called The Still Restaurant. Guests will be able to enjoy an all-day breakfast and brunch menu along with not only bourbons, but local brews and spirits at the bar.
Lexington is the second among the four new Origin locations
opening. In May, Thrash Group opened the first Origin hotel in Red Rocks, Colorado. Other locations coming soon are Westminster, Colorado and Raleigh, North Carolina.
