BurgerFi and Moe’s near Fayette Mall to close, relocate into new building

The existing Moe’s and BurgerFi locations near the Fayette Mall at 141 Rojay Drive will be closing, but not for good.

The two restaurants will be moving next door to the former Johnny Carino’s Italian site at 135 Rojay Drive, which closed in July 2017.

The spot has remained idle since then. The existing Johnny Carino’s building will now be demolished and a new building will be constructed in its place.

The only other Johnny Carino’s restaurant in Lexington is in Hamburg on Sir Barton way.

While BurgerFi and Moe’s plan to close temporarily near the Fayette Mall, there is another BurgerFi on Euclid Avenue and two other Moe’s locations in the food court at Fayette Mall and on Harrodsburg Road.
