This past weekend, Water + Oak partnered with the Lexington Parks and Recreation and hosted a Hammock Hang Out at Jacobson Park. Their goal? To break the record of most people in a hammock at one time. That number would be 300 hammocks.
They also wanted to create a community wide event where people can come to relax and possibly meet new people.
Many people showed up to participate in this wonderful outdoor event and some brought their sweet pups. Water + Oak had a table set up along with Athleta Lex and Explore Kentucky. There was a slacklining station and a mobile shop set up by Drip Coffee Co.
